Middle Full Stack Engineer ID86300

AgileEngine is an award-winning software company looking for a Middle Full Stack Engineer to modernize a legacy platform into a unified operations and inventory system. The role involves working with Node.js APIs and React frontends, using AI tools like Claude or Copilot, and working with cloud platforms and IaC.

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and responsive frontend web components for the "Rise" Franchisee portal.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure Node.js APIs and microservices to support the ecosystem (both web and mobile clients).
• Use Claude or Github Copilot as a development accelerator, generating code scaffolding, writing and reviewing tests, creating documentation, and prototyping solutions.
• Own the engineering lifecycle for your features: architecture, implementation, testing, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Write clean, well-tested TypeScript / JavaScript code; maintain high standards through code review and documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and other engineers to implement best practices around observability, security, and compliance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve web defects, API bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Participate in Agile or product-centric delivery practices including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing software in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
• Experience working with databases (specifically PostgreSQL) and core data persistence concepts.
• Hands-on experience with cloud hosting platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying, managing, and supporting applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Experience developing high-quality, maintainable code while adhering to secure coding standards and industry security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
• NICE TO HAVE: Experience with legacy platform migrations, ETL processes, or managing data hygiene when porting old systems.
• NICE TO HAVE: Familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
• NICE TO HAVE: Experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry.
