Junior QA Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer who is eager to grow in software testing and contribute to building high-quality products. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a solid theoretical foundation and some hands-on experience who wants to further develop their skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities8

• Execute manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Create, maintain, and update test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the defect lifecycle
• Participate in requirements analysis and help clarify acceptance criteria
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing
• Test APIs and validate responses using appropriate tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders
• Contribute to improving QA processes and overall product quality

Requirements14

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of test design techniques and ability to apply them
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Knowledge of testing types (functional, integration, regression, etc.)
• Understanding of the defect lifecycle
• Experience with test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Basic understanding of API testing principles
• Understanding of mobile application testing specifics
• Experience with test management systems (e.g., TestRail or similar)
• Basic SQL knowledge (including JOINs)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Ability to use Chrome DevTools for web testing
• Basic Bash / CLI skills
• Experience with API tools (Postman, Swagger) and traffic sniffing tools (Charles Proxy)
