Senior DevOps / SysAdmin in Virtual Services Team (#1100)

About the Position

ZONE3000 is looking for a Senior DevOps/SysAdmin to work in their Virtual Services Team, where you'll support technical solutions for a new IaaS platform. This remote role involves working with advanced virtualization, cloud technologies, and infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities10

• Research, implement, and support technical solutions to build a new IaaS platform
• Document research and development results to be used inside and shared with other teams
• Build and maintain virtualized environments
• Install and configure software
• Perform system upgrades and patches
• Troubleshoot issues
• Optimize service performance
• Maintain security, monitoring, logging
• Automate tasks
• Be an active part of the team to improve technical and soft processes

Requirements11

• KVM Virtualization Expertise (3+ years)
• Advanced Linux / Unix experience (4+ years)
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Infrastructure monitoring / logging experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (or Opensearch), Zabbix, Nagios, etc)
• DevOps skills
• CI (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab CI, etc)
• IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc)
• Web hosting technologies experience (HTTP, DNS, SQL / No-SQL DBs, Message brokers)
