Backend Software Engineer

About the Position

As a Backend Engineer at Fiverr, you’ll implement core features, build infrastructure, and find innovative solutions with cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin, Node.JS, Ruby, and AWS. This role offers a remote or hybrid work model and is focused on developing modules, data pipelines, and services.

Responsibilities4

• Develop products and features
• Build and develop modules, data pipelines, and services
• Own the process from design to production
• Be available for on-call shifts

Requirements7

• 4+ years of experience in web development and design
• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Very strong coding abilities in at least one modern language (Kotlin, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Python)
• Deep understanding of Computer Science principles and strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian
• Hands-on experience with Cursor and code generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CursorAI, Tabnine)
• Ability to design and build AI-powered features
