About the Position

We are looking for an AI Assisted Applications Engineer to build and operate the platform for creating, deploying, and maintaining internal applications using AI-assisted development tools. This role will involve writing libraries, configuring CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring deployed applications meet security standards.

Responsibilities9

• Create and maintain GitHub repository templates for applications.
• Develop and maintain Claude Code skills for supported application types.
• Build and maintain shared libraries for logging and error reporting.
• Maintain and publish an internal style guide for tools.
• Set up and manage S3 + CloudFront hosting for applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment to AWS.
• Administer RDS MySQL instances, including provisioning and access control.
• Perform security reviews of deployed applications.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for application owners.

Requirements9

• 4+ years of experience in a software engineering or DevOps role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS Fargate, S3, CloudFront, RDS (MySQL).
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Familiarity with Okta for SSO/OIDC integration.
• Experience in MySQL database administration.
• Strong understanding of web application security fundamentals.
