About the Position

Intellias is looking for a Software Support Engineer to monitor and resolve application issues in the telecom sector, ensuring maintenance and operations of production BSS IT projects. You will be part of a team that supports a next-generation product using microservices technology stack.

Responsibilities5

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, implementing work arounds and proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely incident response and resolution.
  • Perform ticket analysis, service interruption analysis.
  • Ensure timely resolution or escalation within the agreed SLA.
  • Analyze and fix order fallouts from various applications, journalize manual billing requests, process payments, and customize miscellaneous activities.

Requirements13

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with Business Support System (BSS): billing, telecom billing, CRM, telecom CRM, ordering, logical inventory, product catalog.
  • Technical Skills of Rest API
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Must have experience of working with microservices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana).
  • Practical experience with NoSQL databases, such as Couchbase and HBase.
  • Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL.
  • Practical experience with Unix / Linux Scripting.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
