Technical Lead

About the Position

Ajax Systems is seeking a Technical Lead in the video direction to take on technical leadership and develop new video devices. The company is a leading manufacturer of security systems in Europe, with a portfolio of 280 devices aimed at various security needs.

Responsibilities8

• Ensure technical leadership in hardware projects
• Align hardware and software architecture with product requirements and technical limitations
• Organize processes for defect diagnosis, performance optimization, functionality, and system diagnostics
• Cooperate with technical support from solution providers (ARM platforms, ISP, DSP, MCU etc.)
• Implement and maintain development standards, review processes, and quality assurance practices for hardware and software solutions
• Manage technical risks of the project and define strategies for their minimization
• Collaborate with other teams, including QA, production automation, sourcing, etc.
• Develop and mentor team developers

Requirements13

• At least 5 years of experience in embedded solutions development
• Experience as a technical lead for a development team for at least 3 years
• Strategic thinking and vision to shape the team's and project's technical direction
• Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly to developers and managers
• Inspirational leadership and mentoring abilities to motivate developers and help each team member grow professionally
• Decision-making capability to quickly assess technical risks and analyze issues
• Ability to manage changes and conflicts effectively
• Knowledge of technical solutions used in electronics development and manufacturing
• Practical experience in product architecture development
• Deep experience in embedded solutions on various platforms
• Understanding of analog and digital electronics principles
• Familiarity with digital and analog interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART/TTL)
• Professional proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting, and tools like Git
