Deputy CTO / VP of Engineering

About the Position

REDI is an international product company specializing in online marketing focused on attracting traffic and customers. We seek a Deputy CTO / VP of Engineering to support the development of IT infrastructure and ensure the continuous operation of the IT direction.

Responsibilities7

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure development strategies to ensure business continuity
• Take responsibility for key IT business metrics and their optimization
• Manage the technical team: development, coordination and motivation to achieve strategic goals
• Build internal and cross-functional business processes, implementing new approaches to increase efficiency
• Negotiate with suppliers and partners for effective development of the technical component of the business
• Implement advanced technological solutions to scale the business and increase its efficiency
• Maintain a high level of data security and cybersecurity for the company.

Requirements8

• Experience in a leadership position
• Expert level knowledge in IT business management: decision making and implementation, searching for external contractors, team formation and development
• Knowledge of technology stack: Linux (Debian), Asterisk, Nginx, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, JavaScript and TypeScript, Node.js, etc.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (SQL, design and optimization)
• Deep understanding of computer networks (security and DDoS attack protection)
• Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on strategy and business orientation
• English knowledge at level B2 or higher
• Experience with cloud services AWS and DigitalOcean is a plus.
