About the Position
Bain & Company is seeking a Software Engineer for its Coro product development organization, working on the Artemis AI-driven marketing platform. The role is full stack, building features across Python/FastAPI backend and React/TypeScript frontend, with responsibilities including feature development, data visualization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Implement features across backend API logic and React frontend components for assigned Artemis product areas
- Build and maintain backend routes for assigned product areas
- Keep TypeScript type contracts on the frontend in sync with backend changes
- Build and maintain React components using the shared Demand Generation Suite design system
- Write database queries and data access logic for Artemis data models
- Write and maintain tests for backend and frontend code
- Participate in structured feedback sessions with Artemis Expert Consultants
- Drive innovation through out-of-the-box thinking
- Participate in technical discovery, POCs, and innovation workstreams
- Investigate and keep up-to-date on emerging data, AI, and agentic technologies
- Participate in support and operations by identifying system defects, contributing to troubleshooting efforts, and supporting code deployments
Requirements
- Proficient in Python for backend development
- Proficient in React and TypeScript in a production or near-production context
- Familiarity with CSS and comfort working within component libraries and design systems
- Working knowledge of relational databases: writing SQL queries, reading and modifying schemas
- Exposure to data visualization libraries is a plus
- Familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)
- 2-3+ years of experience building full-stack web applications
- Track record of delivering in an Agile environment
- Experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution skills
- Experience building web interfaces for data-heavy or analytics applications highly preferred
- Exposure to marketing, media, or commercial data is a plus
- Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent
