React Native & Node.js Engineer

About the Position

BetterMe is a global wellness ecosystem empowering millions to become better — physically, mentally, and emotionally. The role involves leading the development of a mobile application using React Native and contributing to both frontend and backend services.

Responsibilities8

• Lead the development of a new Style Mobile application using React Native.
• Collaborate with the team to validate existing research and prepare the platform for supporting both Web and Mobile applications.
• Identify and escalate required backend improvements to enable seamless support for multiple client applications.
• Contribute to the development of the Style web platform and related services during onboarding.
• Support and mentor your colleagues in React Native development.
• Participate in full-cycle product development: architecture discussions, feature implementation, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve funnels and deliver features that drive user impact.
• Contribute to engineering culture through team processes, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements7

• Strong experience building production mobile applications with React Native.
• Hands-on experience deploying apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Solid frontend experience with React, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js / NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeORM.
• Confident user of AI engineering tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code or similar.
• Comfortable working in product teams with a product mindset and ownership attitude.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
