Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js, Shopify)

BASE-X-TECH is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to lead and contribute to complex eCommerce applications, custom Shopify integrations, and custom web applications for international clients. The role involves full involvement in architecture, logic, and product delivery in a product-oriented environment.

• Architect and develop high-performance backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript, building custom standalone web applications alongside eCommerce integrations.
• Develop, customize, and maintain high-quality Shopify themes and responsive storefront interfaces using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Manage seamless Shopify integrations, Shopify Admin APIs, and third-party apps and analytics (Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, GTM).
• Optimize store loading speed, performance, user experience (UX), and conversion rates (CRO).
• Leverage AI-assisted SDLC management practices (specifically Claude Code) to accelerate feature development, refactoring, and quality control.
• Design relational databases (PostgreSQL) using TypeORM, implement Redis caching, and containerize services with Docker for deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide ongoing technical support, debugging, and troubleshooting across web applications and integrations.
• Manage, guide, and mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster technical growth across the team.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, engineering practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to maintain high quality and security standards.
• Partner closely with Project Managers to break down complex requirements, evaluate technical risks, and provide accurate task estimations and sprint roadmaps.

• 4+ years of commercial full-stack software engineering experience and a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Mastery of Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and modern backend architecture principles.
• Deep expertise in Shopify / Shopify Plus platform development, including custom Themes, Liquid, Admin APIs, and app ecosystem integrations.
• Advanced frontend development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS).
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, TypeORM, Redis, Docker, and Git workflows.
• Proven experience acting as a technical lead, mentoring engineers, and assisting project managers with estimations.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher for technical communication with international stakeholders.
• Experience creating aesthetic, modern eCommerce sites for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
• Expertise in subscription-based products and expanding to international Shopify markets.
• Experience with GraphQL, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), or message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
