Backend Developer (Node.js / Nest.js)

About the Position

ГЕРЦ is a leading Ukrainian developer of fintech solutions for state and commercial sectors. Since 2000, we have created systems serving millions of users, from calculations and payments to modern electronic services. Now we are expanding our technical team and looking for a backend developer who will support and develop technological products.

Responsibilities7

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js.
• Design architecture for services and databases (PostgreSQL).
• Integrate with APIs, external services, and payment platforms.
• Work with queues, asynchronous logic, and WebSockets.
• Participate in requirement discussions, technical solutions, and planning.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, PM, and other technical teams.
• Develop new modules for utilities, payments, and electronic services.

Requirements6

• 3+ years of development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of Nest.js, PostgreSQL, WebSockets.
• Understanding of WebSockets, event-driven model, and scaling.
• Experience with integrations via REST API.
• Basic understanding of asynchronous architecture and queue management.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
