About the Position

Client produces the best-selling iPad and iPhone app for pilots flying personal and business aircraft, corporate flight departments, and aircraft operators. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Charting & Mapping Team to design and build web-based tools to modernize geospatial aeronautical chart information.

Responsibilities2

• Design and build the web-based tools to modernize how internal users visually author and maintain geospatial aeronautical chart information.
• Maximize automation in geospatial mapping solutions.

Requirements8

• Experience building web-based geospatial authoring and visualization tools
• Proficiency with both Angular and React
• Extensive experience writing high-quality Java code
• Experience with and optimizing relational and spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, PostGIS)
• Familiarity with Python for scripting or data processing
• Experience designing, deploying and operating services within Amazon Web Services
• Proficient with Maven or other build management and dependency handling
• Experience with monitoring tools and expert skills in debugging and troubleshooting production applications.
