Engineering Manager

About the Position

DualEntry is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team while contributing to production code and driving technical direction and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage and unblock engineers effectively.

Responsibilities5

• Run planning, standup, retrospectives, and concise meetings
• Unblock engineers and minimize distractions
• Partner with Product on roadmap, prioritization and execution
• Drive delivery of major features and technical initiatives
• Design and review system architecture, APIs and data models

Requirements6

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience leading teams
• Strong experience with Python and React/Next.js (preferred)
• Experience building scalable APIs and systems
• Experience leading projects or systems end-to-end
• Clear written and verbal communication
