Senior Front-End Engineer

About the Position

At Robots & Pencils, we're looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join a newly formed, R&P-led team working on a greenfield web application. In this role, you will help build a modern React-based platform designed to support operational workflows and improve how distributed teams manage their day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities7

• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React
• Translate product requirements and UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable components
• Implement front-end features based on user stories within an agile development environment
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration
• Contribute to front-end architecture, code quality, and best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code efficiency
• Ensure application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices

Requirements8

• 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
• Experience building scalable, production-grade web applications
• Familiarity with modern development workflows and tooling
• Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles
• Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)
