Middle+/Senior Software Engineer (Guru Apps)

About the Position

We are looking to strengthen the Guru Apps team with a Middle+/Senior Software Engineer who will directly participate in implementing product experiments with the team. Guru Apps is a mobile application ecosystem for iOS at Universe Group, with over 90 million downloads and users from 180 countries.

Responsibilities8

• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance the internal PaaS solution.
• Create new microservices and tools for internal use by the team.
• Build a scalable architecture for rapid feature growth.
• Work with external APIs (Facebook, Google, Tiktok, Dropbox).
• Optimize database queries.
• Build data pipelines.
• Create pipelines for CI.
• Develop unit and integration tests and documentation.

Requirements7

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Ability to design systems and write effective and clean code that is easily scalable.
• Understanding of different databases (SQL & NoSQL) and how to apply them according to business needs.
• Willingness to take ownership and want to impact the business.
• Preferred: Ability to set up Nginx and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS.
