Full Stack Software Engineer (Java / Angular)

Spektrum Group is recruiting a Full Stack Software Engineer for a NATO C2 Service Centre team in The Hague, working on development, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical software applications within a SCRUM environment.

• Develop and maintain full stack applications across Front-end (Angular) and Back-end (Spring/Java) with equal proficiency
• Write automated tests (unit, component, functional, integration)
• Work within a SCRUM team using Jira, Jenkins, Maven and standard IDE tooling
• Collaborate with Project Manager / Product Owner / Service Delivery Manager on delivery priorities
• Operate within a Linux server environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering field
• 3+ years total software development experience
• 2+ years Front-end: Angular v10+, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript
• 2+ years Back-end: Spring v5+, Java 5+, Spring Boot
• Automated testing experience (JUnit or equivalent)
• Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON
• TCP/UDP/IP networking fundamentals, SSH/terminal proficiency
• SQL and NoSQL database experience
• Linux environment experience (RHEL/Oracle Linux)
• Web Sockets (STOMP)
• Near-real-time data visualisation
• Tactical Data Links
• RPM packaging
