Senior .NET / Delphi Engineer

Forte Group is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer with Delphi expertise to architect, debug, and implement solutions across a critical application suite for the golf industry. The role involves building new features in .NET and maintaining legacy Delphi applications within an Agile team.

• building new features in .NET that empower the business by connecting to key data sources
• ensuring the stability and performance of existing Delphi-based systems
• providing ongoing support and feature enhancements for legacy Delphi applications (Delphi 2007)

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET (C#, .NET Core), with hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications
• 3+ years of Delphi experience (Delphi 2007 preferred), including Indy 10, DevExpress, Raize, and familiarity with other component sets
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
• Experience developing and maintaining multi-threaded API/DB applications
• Understanding of memory management, debugging tools, and performance profiling (both .NET and Delphi)
• Self-driven team member of a high-performing development team who cares about team culture and takes pride in outcomes
• Bright and engaging with 'start-up' energy and passion
• Flexible and able to align with priorities coming from the business
• Enjoys an Agile development environment; experience with the Scrum methodology is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate English or higher
• BS/BSE degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong experience in .NET (C#, .NET Core) application development
• Experience in Delphi development and maintenance (Delphi 2007 preferred)
• Experience in building/integrating frontend and backend APIs
• Experience with automated code testing (unit testing, automated UI testing)
• Experience working on enterprise-level, production applications
