Middle/Senior Svelte developer

We are looking for a talented Middle/Senior Frontend (Svelte) Developer with 3+ years of experience to join a new overseas expansion of the client's Markets Engineering team, working on a global trading infrastructure and matching engine platform. The team encourages generalists and the stack includes TypeScript, Svelte/SvelteKit, Tailwind, Playwright, WebSockets.

• Working on a Svelte single-page-application (SPA) frontend
• Extending the frontend to interface with more parts of the client's system
• Implementing new business functions in the frontend
• Collaborating with the design team on UI prototypes and turning wireframes into functional pages/flows
• Maintaining backend-for-frontend (BFF) services
• Maintaining the codebase to the highest level of quality
• Writing and maintaining automated frontend tests
• Maintaining a continuous integration (CI) pipeline for the frontend

• 3+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript
• Solid experience building single-page applications with Svelte/SvelteKit
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Experience working with WebSockets for real-time data
• Strong understanding of core web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Web APIs)
• Experience writing and maintaining automated frontend tests (Playwright or similar)
• Experience maintaining a CI pipeline for the frontend
• Experience collaborating closely with design teams (prototyping UI components, turning wireframes into functional pages/flows)
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
• Experience with Rust or C++
• Experience maintaining backend-for-frontend (BFF) services
• Interest/experience in backend, infrastructure, or QA engineering (team encourages generalists)

• Projects with modern JS stack (React.js, React Native, Angular, Node.js)
• Strong JavaScript community at the company (90+ developers)
