Middle Full-Stack Software Engineer (Next.js + Python)

Akvelon is looking for a Middle Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a product modernization project for a US-based technology company. The project involves developing new frontend and backend functionality and introducing AI-powered capabilities for an internal call center platform.

• Develop and enhance full-stack functionality for the client’s internal call center platform using Next.js and Python
• Build backend services and APIs with FastAPI, working with SQLAlchemy as part of the application’s data layer
• Contribute to the modernization of the existing platform and development of new capabilities for internal product and sales teams
• Develop AI-powered functionality using LangGraph, FastMCP, and Claude
• Work across frontend, backend, and AI components as part of the platform’s ongoing development
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering improvements
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across international teams

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with FastAPI
• English sufficient for working in an international engineering environment
• Experience with FastMCP, LangGraph, and SQLAlchemy (nice to have)
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET (nice to have)
• Experience with AI-powered development and Claude (nice to have)
