About the Position
OrangeUni is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead development projects for an e-learning video-based platform. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating feature delivery, and ensuring platform enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Frontend, Backend, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and Product/BA in delivering features.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of web platform and mobile features, improvements, integrations, and technical projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Define project scope, technical requirements, and timelines aligned with product and platform goals.
- Manage sprints, backlog prioritization, feature scoping, and development cycles.
- Maintain clear project documentation including technical requirements, release notes, and roadmaps.
- Provide structured updates through reports, status tracking, risks, blockers, and action plans.
- Coordinate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.
- Ensure project knowledge and workflows are properly documented so delivery does not depend on a single person.
- Provide concise, structured progress updates to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct retrospectives and evaluate project outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress, blockers, risks, delays, and dependencies and proactively escalate issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years proven experience managing IT/software development projects, ideally in web platforms or e-learning video-based systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system architecture, API-driven development, frontend/backend development, databases, and QA workflows.
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and sprint-based development.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between technical teams and leadership.
- Strong ability to identify blockers, risks, scope changes, and delivery dependencies before they impact deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong digital literacy and excellent computer skills.
- University degree and 4+ years of IT project management experience preferred.
- Professional English proficiency, B2 or higher.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Monday.com, Confluence, Slack).
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile development frameworks and CI/CD processes.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or similar), Docker, CI/CD, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating SEO, analytics, payment, or third-party API integrations.
- Experience working with streaming/video workflow, e-learning, SaaS, EdTech, or consumer-facing web platforms projects is a plus.
