BI Database Developer

Bodycote is seeking a BI Database Developer to design, develop, and optimise global BI and database solutions, transforming complex data into insights for strategic decision-making. This role involves database development, ETL processes, data modelling, and reporting solutions. The position is based in Prague with a hybrid work pattern.

• Design, develop, and optimise global BI and database solutions
• Transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making
• Take ownership of database development, ETL processes, data modelling, and reporting solutions
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing data platforms for global teams

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Database Development, or similar data-focused role
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Data Lake/BLOB storage, SQL development, database administration, and ETL tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Power BI or SSRS, data modelling, and ideally Python, Visual Studio, and other Microsoft Azure technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Fluent English plus one additional European language (German, Czech, or French preferred)
