Senior Android Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a long-term mobile product in the European e-commerce and e-health domain. You will take ownership of key technical areas of a large production Android application and help shape its architecture, scalability, performance, and future development.

• Design and develop scalable Android solutions using modern architecture
• Contribute to architectural decisions and application modularization
• Build responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Improve code quality, performance, stability, and maintainability
• Develop and maintain unit and UI tests
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes
• Improve monitoring, logging, and performance tracking
• Document technical decisions and development processes
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other mobile developers

• Strong commercial Android development experience
• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose
• Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and modularization
• Experience with Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger
• Experience integrating REST APIs with Retrofit and OkHttp
• Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and MockK, or similar testing tools
• Understanding of CI/CD and Android release workflows
• Ability to independently own complex technical tasks
• Confident spoken and written English
