Backend Engineer JS / TS (m/w/d) | IoT, Energy Management System

Lipsia Digital is a growing IT company developing tailored software solutions for digitalization and business process optimization. They are looking for a Backend Engineer to build IoT cloud and energy management systems.

• Developing and improving applications for managing and optimizing energy usage in private households (Home Energy Management System) using TypeScript and JavaScript and other modern technologies.
• Being part of the entire development process from initial design to go-live, implementing projects independently.
• Collaborating in a dynamic team, sharing knowledge, and mentoring juniors.
• Understanding customer needs and helping them achieve their goals.

• Completed degree or training in computer science or equivalent.
• Several years of professional experience in developing JS/TS-based applications in a team and corporate context.
• Proficiency with relational databases.
• Team player, actively contributing to specifications, code reviews, and pair programming.
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2).
• Plus: Knowledge of NestJS, React, React Native, Postgres, timeseries databases, infrastructure topics, and DevOps practices.
