About the Position

GE HealthCare, a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator, is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support the HFS Transformation initiative involving product upgrade, platform modernization, and AI. The intern will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, .NET, MS SQL, and Angular, collaborating with product managers and architects.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement analysis, user story documentation, performing technical proof of concept & development using technologies including Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, .NET, MS SQL, Front-end frameworks like Angular, Node JS, etc.
  • Supporting release planning, test planning for product and platform upgrades.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, etc. to implement solutions.
  • Taking part in various software lifecycle activities such as requirement analysis, development, testing & documentation.
  • Preparing technical documentations.
  • Participating in all Scrum ceremonies with business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Active student of IT-related studies (Bachelor or Master), preferably in STEM field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Basic experience in designing and building web-based applications using technologies like MS Power platform, any AI technologies, any web & full stack technologies & relational databases like SQL Server.
  • Keen interest in learning current and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding and interest in UX concepts, developing wireframes for user interface design.
  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organization skills including attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems and actively incorporate inputs from various sources.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated to achieve excellence with ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
