Founding Engineer

An early-stage AI startup is seeking a Founding Engineer to own full-stack development, technical decisions, and 0-to-1 product development. You will collaborate closely with the founding team and work on ML-related features when needed.

• Product features end-to-end — backend, frontend, whatever it takes
• Technical decisions without a committee
• 0-to-1 product development — the messy, exciting early stage
• ML-related features when needed (interest counts more than specialisation)
• Close collaboration with the founding team on what gets built and how

• Strong engineering fundamentals with full-stack experience
• Built products from 0 to 1, not just added features to mature codebases
• Startup experience — small team, high ownership, fast iteration
• Backend-leaning, comfortable across the stack
• Some ML interest or ML-oriented thinking
• Independent, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity
• Able to work hybrid in Warsaw
