Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing and developing front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources. They work with a technology stack including JavaScript, GraphQL, MERN, NestJS, and TypeScript, and must be proficient in test-driven development, RESTful APIs, and performance optimization.

• Design and develop front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources
• Develop software in the technology stack (JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN, NestJS, Redis, SQL, TypeScript)
• Complete test-driven development and write unit tests
• Maintain working knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Maintain knowledge of security best practices in web development to safeguard customer and company data
• Design performance optimized and scalable web applications
• Utilize agile methodologies and scrum planning tools like Jira to help the development team meet its sprint goal
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
• 2 years of relevant experience in front end, middleware, or backend development, OR combination of education and experience
• Any technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, or in an essential duty mentioned above are a plus
• Proficient in JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript
• Proficient in test-driven development, RESTful APIs, collaboration, communication, security best practices, and performance optimization
