Specialist Programmer - Entry Level for new Grads

Infosys is hiring Specialist Programmers for new graduates. The role involves working on modern technology stacks, building scalable software solutions, and collaborating with experienced engineers. Candidates should have strong programming skills in one or more technology streams such as Java/Spring Boot, Angular/React, or Node.js.

• Analyze user stories and use cases to ensure accurate understanding for production-ready delivery
• Contribute to define design specifications and technology frameworks and assist in creation of reusable assets
• Deliver high-quality, optimized and efficient code across applications and databases, engage in debugging complex routines and build automation
• Support the team to foster a robust technical environment and ensure error-free coding; participate in knowledge transfer sessions
• Assist in deploying solutions for future projects exploring new technologies through initial prototypes
• Facilitate adoption of emerging technologies through POC initiatives aligned to business needs
• Support in implementation of technical services to meet quality service requirements
• Contribute to development of reusable assets with focus on productivity improvement and support resolution of critical production issues
• Address technical issues during testing to ensure a reliable, production-ready codebase
• Fix issues during testing phases to ensure error-free, clean releases

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, AI Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Recent graduates or students who have graduated within the past 0–18 months
• Strong knowledge & academic project(s) in one or more of the following software development skillsets: Application Development (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React JS, Docker, K8S; or Angular/React JS, Next.js/Vue.js, MongoDB, NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript; or C# .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MongoDB, Angular JS, ExpressJS/NodeJS) OR Data Engineering (Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Hive, PostgreSQL, Python/Java, Kafka, Airflow, Beam) OR AI Engineering (Python, Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, NLP, MCP, Prompt Engineering, etc.)
• Strong algorithmic, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive & effective collaboration and strong communication skills
• Desirable: knowledge of Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Object Oriented concepts, design patterns, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
• Consistent academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Willingness to relocate anywhere within the US
• Authorization to work in the US without employer-based visa sponsorship
