Backend Software Engineer

Coolset is an ESG & supply chain platform for compliance-first teams. They are hiring a Backend Software Engineer to build new features, projects, and integrations for the platform, using API-first principles and serverless cloud technology on Google Cloud Platform.

• Play a significant role in the development of the Coolset platform
• Follow API-first principles with serverless cloud technology using Google Cloud Platform
• Build new features, projects, and integrations for the platform
• Take accountability for projects with a hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial stance
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively

• 2+ years experience working in a software engineer role, preferably at a high-growth startup
• Committed to an AI future
• Love working with opinionated web frameworks: Django Rest Framework, FastAPI, FastMCP
• DevOps mentality - not all solutions should be solved with code
• Find the right balance between quality and output
• Already based in The Netherlands, preferably in or around Amsterdam
• Nice to have: Experience with frontend development using React
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
