Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance scalable data solutions within a modern Microsoft Fabric environment, enabling reliable and efficient data processing across the organization
  • Build and optimize data integration processes, transforming data from multiple source systems into analytics-ready assets for business stakeholders
  • Develop robust ELT/ETL workflows, data models, and Lakehouse structures while continuously improving performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Drive the evolution of the data platform through modern architecture approaches, automation, monitoring, and governance best practices
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, security, compliance, and operational reliability through testing, validation, metadata management, and access control concepts
  • Act as a technical sparring partner for architects, developers, and business teams, contributing to architecture decisions and future platform strategy

Requirements

  • Experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering within modern cloud-based environments
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure-based data platforms, Databricks, or comparable technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and Spark; experience with Python and data pipeline automation is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of Lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and enterprise-scale analytics platforms
  • Experience with Power BI, CI/CD practices, data governance frameworks, and self-service analytics is a plus
  • A structured and solution-oriented mindset combined with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
