(Senior) Software Engineer - Pricing (m/f/d)

Join Sixt as a Senior Software Engineer for the Pricing team, responsible for car-rental yield management systems. You will own pricing problems end to end, from business intent to production, collaborating closely with Product and engineering.

• Own pricing problems end to end - from ambiguous business intent to a running production system: writing, testing, deploying, and monitoring it live
• Partner with Product as a peer, co-owning the outcome: translating business goals into technical strategy
• Turn ambiguity into clarity - specifications with measurable acceptance criteria, edge cases named, and concrete validation plans
• Make quality structural by encoding standards as automated checks
• Use AI tooling as a genuine engineering lever - moving faster from spec to working C++, accelerating root cause analysis, generating test coverage
• Set technical direction for performance, reliability, and correctness across the pricing stack

• Experienced in C++ as primary language in latency- and correctness-critical pricing core
• Experience building scalable distributed systems
• Golang is a strong plus
• Systems thinking - reason honestly about trade-offs in reliability, performance, and correctness
