Internship - Frontend Developer

We are adding an Internship - Frontend Developer to our team to support our advisory work through technical tools. Our partner is a major UK financial firm where we are currently reviewing how management decisions are tracked and communicated. You will work on the web-based tools that help these teams keep a clear, written record of their work.

• Work on the development of clean and responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies
• Collaborate with the consulting team to turn management concepts into functional digital components
• Maintain and improve our library of reusable visual elements to ensure consistency across different tools
• Test interfaces across different browsers and devices to ensure a smooth experience for all users
• Write clear documentation for the code you produce so that others can easily follow your logic and structure
• Participate in weekly reviews to discuss progress and refine the user experience based on direct feedback from the team
• Identify and fix small bugs or layout issues in existing pages to keep the interface reliable
• Help translate technical requirements into plain English for non-technical team members

• Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Genuine interest in how people use software to solve work related problems
• Eye for detail and appreciation for clean, uncluttered design
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment with clear written communication
• Ability to ask questions when instructions are unclear and to seek feedback early
• Structured approach to tasks, ensuring small details are not overlooked
• Willingness to learn new frameworks and tools as project requirements evolve
• Preference for simplicity and clarity over complex or flashy visual effects
• Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React or Vue) through personal projects or coursework
• Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors or modern styling systems
• Previous experience organizing messy information into a clear format
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a computer science or web development program
