Full Stack Engineer

A VC-backed early-stage startup is building an AI-native operating system for complex operational workflows. They are seeking a founding full-stack engineer to own major parts of the product, working with TypeScript, Next.js, and AI tools. The role offers strong equity and hybrid work in Munich.

• Work directly with the founders and own major parts of the product from day one - helping define architecture, product decisions, and how AI should actually show up inside critical workflows
• Build AI-native workflow software, not chatbot wrapper
• Extend agent systems all the way to the frontend
• Build frontend systems that handle streamed outputs, tool execution traces, partial renders, interruptions, and recovery flows as first-class product experiences

• Strong full-stack engineering ability with excellent product instincts
• Comfortable speaking with customers and understanding operational workflows
• Fast execution without sacrificing reliability
• Strong ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
• Bonus points for startup experience, strong open-source work, AI systems, document understanding, or systems that replaced manual operational work
• TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel, Supabase (Postgres + vector search), modern LLM tooling, agent frameworks, observability tooling, and production-grade AI workflows
