Full Stack Engineer at Byld

Byld is a London-based venture firm investing in fintech. As the first engineer, you will architect and build a new internal platform from scratch using React and Node.js, owning the entire product lifecycle from infrastructure to UI.

• Architect and develop the entire internal platform end-to-end using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Make critical infrastructure and technical tradeoff decisions while turning abstract product ideas into production-ready software.
• Establish the foundational engineering culture and eventually recruit and lead the engineering team as the platform scales.

• Lead or Principal level experience with deep expertise in the React and Node.js ecosystems for building production-grade systems.
• Proven track record of building complex products from scratch and a high comfort level operating as a solo engineer.
• Strong architectural range covering everything from UI/UX implementation to database design and cloud deployment.
