Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript / NestJS (deep expertise))

Profisea is a DevOps and Cloud company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer. The role involves architecting scalable services, mastering real-time systems, and using AI-powered tools to deliver production-grade code.

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance services powering the autonomous decision-making engine using Node.js.
• Master real-time systems involving sensor integration and mission-planning algorithms using Event-Driven Architectures, Caching, Pub/Sub, and Queues.
• Champion AI-powered engineering to boost delivery speed.
• Own features end-to-end from technical design to production deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to translate defense-grade needs into technological solutions.

• 7+ years professional experience in backend development (Node.js & TypeScript)
• Extensive experience with AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot)
• Deep experience with Nest.js and building modular, distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven patterns, Pub/Sub, and Queues (Redis, RabbitMQ)
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8S)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Natural problem-solving ability in high-stakes environments
• Frontend familiarity with React (bonus)
