Lead Backend Engineer

OneDome is a fintech/proptech scale-up seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to develop and maintain a Java Spring-based platform. The role involves team leading, collaborating with a distributed team, and contributing to architecture and design. The company offers challenging tasks, 20 days paid vacation, and remote work.

• Work on product features and impact customer experience
• Develop and maintain our Java Spring-based platform for a quickly scaling business
• Collaborate with a distributed team of highly skilled engineers
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our growing platform
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
• Team leading on small to medium teams
• Write code of complex things himself

• Strong Java experience (6+ years)
• Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MVC, Security), ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate)
• Experience with Relational & NoSQL databases.
• AWS knowledge, including ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
• DevOps skills in AWS provisioning, operations, and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• AWS Certification
