Software Developer (m/f/d) Test Frameworks Frontend Services

Orizon GmbH is seeking a Software Developer for test frameworks and frontend services at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The role involves designing software for test and simulation frameworks, GUI elements, and contributing to virtual engineering in aerospace environment.

• Design and develop software for test- and simulation framework (TSF) in C++
• Software development of TSF Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements
• Simulation, design, implementation and development tests (unit tests) as well as code reviews
• Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques
• Contribute actively to virtual engineering (mixed environment of simulations and real HW)
• 2nd Level rig support for the test support system AIDASS / MaTE as well as simulation framework SI²
• Customer support in application development and system testing
• Participation in the continuous improvement process
• Support SW teams concerning concepts and technologies

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in IT / Information Systems
• Basic experience in Interface Control Documents and avionic and non-avionic protocols (ARINC 429, TCP, UDP, HTTP etc.)
• Experience in modeling, model transformations or code generation
• Knowledge in software design, patterns and architecture, system programming and cross-platform development
• Basic knowledge of networking, field busses and distributed systems is a plus
• Good programming skills in C++, ADA and Java
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Skills in use of JavaFX, Qt, MFC, Eclipse RCP, OSGI and Python is a plus
• Fluent English and German skills spoken and written
