PHP Back-end Engineer

Exact Software is looking for a PHP Back-end Engineer to join the Exact Online Bouw development team in Leeuwarden. The role involves developing and maintaining microservices for cloud-based construction software, working in SCRUM teams alongside front-end, back-end, and mobile developers.

• Ensure that the innovative cloud software of Exact Online Bouw works optimally on all modern browsers and devices
• Develop and maintain micro services
• Work in SCRUM teams for Front-End, Back-End, and Mobile
• Collaborate with product managers on application development

• At least HBO level of thinking and working
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• A positive attitude and the ability to be critical and thinks in solutions
• 4-5 years experience with PHP
• Good knowledge of Symfony or Laravel
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and MySQL
• Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests
• Up to date with the latest techniques and standards
• Problem-solving skills using accepted best practices and principles such as SOLID and design patterns
• Good communication skills in English
