Software Engineer

Manex AI builds a platform for manufacturing data, ontology modeling and agentic applications. The Software Engineer role involves building core platform features from data ingestion to shop-floor applications, working end-to-end with the team and customers.

• Build the core platform: data ingestion, ontology layer, and applications for shop-floor use
• Own features end-to-end from design to production
• Write and review RFCs
• Work directly with founders and customers

• Write maintainable, tested, and performant code
• Own problems from design to production
• Enjoy writing and reviewing RFCs
• Know at least one of React, Python, TypeScript, or Rust
• Thrive in the pace of an early-stage startup
• Nice to have: PostgreSQL, DuckDB or lakehouse formats
• Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or AWS
