Full Stack Software Engineer at Faculty

This role is with a strategic AI consultancy transforming UK public services through high-impact machine learning and government-scale data systems. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and scale AI-powered systems for the NHS and central government departments.

• Build reliable, scalable frontend and backend architectures using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript/React to deliver advanced AI systems.
• Develop complex data pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP to support technically sophisticated software deployment.
• Partner with Data Scientists and Product Managers to translate complex machine learning models into user-centric, high-impact products.

• Proves deep technical expertise in Python backend frameworks (FastAPI) and modern frontend technologies like React or Vue.
• Experience deploying containerised software via Docker into cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on reliability.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and possesses a pragmatic, scientific mindset for solving ambiguous engineering challenges.
