Frontend Engineer - React / Next.js (Contract)

We are hiring a Frontend Engineer to build high-quality customer-facing interfaces for a large regulated UK organisation, focusing on accessibility and using React, Next.js and TypeScript.

• Build accessible, high-quality interfaces in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Ship through Vercel and manage content with Contentful.
• Work closely with design to get the details right.
• Hold a high bar for accessibility across everything you build.

• Strong React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with Vercel and a headless CMS, Contentful ideally.
• A real understanding of web accessibility and WCAG.
• Care for performance and usability, not just shipping features.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
• Bonus points for experience building for users with a wide range of access needs.
