Senior Azure Migration Specialist

Sii Ukraine is looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Administrator to join a large-scale cloud transformation project focused on migrating approximately 150 Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture, as well as modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.

• Driving a large-scale cloud transformation project with an aggressive delivery timeline
• Managing the migration of Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure using a rehost approach
• Modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure SQL technologies
• Replacing on-premises File Servers and NetApp NAS shares with Azure Files
• Designing and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Host Pools
• Delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives
• Leading technical workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure infrastructure
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, and Azure Backup & Site Recovery
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server migration and optimization
• Strong command of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Network (VNet) and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Azure migration projects, including environments with 100+ servers
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
• Advanced level of English
• Nice to have: Experience with VPN and ExpressRoute
• Nice to have: Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
• Nice to have: Experience with Azure DevOps
