Software Engineer

We are partnering with a technology for good organisation that is looking for a Software Engineer to join its collaborative product engineering team. The role involves designing, building and maintaining scalable software products using Python and TypeScript.

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable software applications
• Building reliable APIs and backend services
• Delivering new features alongside Product, Design and Engineering
• Contributing to architecture and technical direction
• Taking part in code reviews and improving engineering standards
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers
• Improving platform performance, reliability and observability

• Strong commercial experience with Python and TypeScript
• Experience with Next.js and NestJS
• Experience building cloud native applications on Azure
• Experience working on large scale software platforms
• A good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
