Senior Front-End Developer (React)

The role involves building a trading platform for a hedge fund, focusing on front-office systems, pre-trade analysis, position management, and integration with market data providers.

• Development and maintenance of various applications using React
• Working with end-user and server-side data processing techniques
• Understanding and applying SDLC and agile development methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Expert-level proficiency in React (or equivalent modern UI framework) with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Strong understanding of React UI design patterns and commonly used TypeScript/JavaScript patterns
• Proven experience with multiple global state management libraries (e.g. Redux, Zustand, MobX, Recoil, or similar)
• Strong passion for UI styling — deep knowledge of CSS, CSS-in-JS, and design systems
• Strong background in problem solving and debugging complex front-end issues
• Expertise integrating UI with backend services (REST APIs, WebSockets)
• Experience with ag-Grid for high-performance data table rendering
• Familiarity with React Query (TanStack Query) for server-state management
• Experience with Node.js and/or NestJS for backend or full-stack work
• Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
