About the Position

The Bundeskartellamt is an independent competition authority seeking an IT Controller to support IT units with economic efficiency analyses, IT financial planning, and multi-project management. The role involves controlling IT measures, ensuring data quality, and coordinating IT communications.

Responsibilities

  • Support all IT organizational units in creating economic efficiency and risk assessments and evaluating project-relevant quality criteria
  • Monitor and control the economic efficiency of IT measures
  • Conduct ad-hoc evaluations and create reports on financial figures
  • Support the preparation of the IT financial plan and coordinate feedback from IT units during the annual creation of an IT strategy and financial plan for a 5-year plan
  • Ensure data quality in the IT systems used by the Bundeskartellamt
  • Support IT organizational units in order and requirements management
  • Support multi-project management in IT
  • Coordinate and conduct internal communication in the IT area

Requirements

  • Successfully completed career examination for the higher non-technical administrative service or higher tax service
  • Bachelor or FH-Diploma in economics, administrative/business informatics, or IT management
  • Willingness to undergo an extended security check according to SÜG
  • Very good knowledge and experience in IT controlling
  • Analytical thinking
  • Very good knowledge of standard software (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
  • Pronounced ability for conceptual and independent work
  • Very good oral and written expression in German
  • Strongly pronounced communicative and cooperative skills
  • High performance willingness and resilience
  • Experience in planning and executing IT-related projects (advantageous)
  • Experience in IT service management (advantageous)
