Wordpress Developer

BJM Digital is a Melbourne-based digital agency seeking a Junior-to-Mid WordPress Developer to join their delivery team. The role involves servicing retainer clients, maintaining custom WordPress builds, and working in a hybrid environment with a path to full-time employment.

• Proactively review client websites and recommend improvements
• Execute support tickets: manage retainer tasks, updates, and general maintenance on existing custom WordPress sites
• Write great code: produce clean, maintainable code across PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate and learn: assist the Senior Developer with minor functionality updates, bug fixes, and theme tweaks
• Track your impact: meticulously track time for client reporting and agency management
• Explore AI: bring curiosity about AI and help identify ways to leverage new tools to improve services and workflows

• Demonstrable experience working with WordPress (custom themes and plugins preferred)
• Solid foundational skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Keen eye for detail to ensure front-end presentation remains pixel-perfect across all devices
• Proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn from a Senior Developer
