Software Developer

Octave is seeking a Software Developer to develop and maintain software for its products, focusing on building a next-generation CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) system. The role involves working in an agile/Scrum team, participating in design and development discussions, implementing automated testing, and analyzing error causes.

• Develop and maintain software for Octave's products, focusing on building the next-generation CAD system
• Work in an agile/Scrum team with employees from various disciplines
• Participate in design and development discussions
• Develop software according to requirements
• Implement automated testing methods
• Analyze root causes of software errors
• Support review of documentation for correctness

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with GIT is a plus
• Experience with .NET and C# development is a plus
• Experience in developing web user interfaces is a plus
• Experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, Redux, Vue or similar web UI technologies is highly desirable
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL is a plus
