Platform Data Engineer

Data is at the heart of everything we do at Nederlandse Loterij. The Data Engineering team processes large volumes of data using latest techniques, enabling the organization to make data-driven choices. As a Data Engineer, you will expand the data platform and contribute to fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and responsible gambling initiatives.

• Working on technical solutions that serve other engineering, data, or business-facing teams
• Writing your infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and automatically building, testing, and deploying your creations within our CI/CD pipelines
• Partnering with our technology department on solution delivery, infrastructure, architecture, and platform teams
• Developing and delivering high-quality data solutions that solve specific business problems
• Keeping the platform secure by managing governance tooling, identity management, and connectivity

• An education professional credentials, and/or demonstrable expertise in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in building data engineering solutions and experience in structured & unstructured data, data lakes, scheduling, and orchestration. You can lead design discussions and own a platform domain end-to-end
• Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, and data engineering paradigms, and good knowledge of cloud computing, containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Experience in SQL, NoSQL, and database design

• a salary between €4.800,- and €6.800,- gross per month, depending on your experience
