Middle DevOps Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Middle Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to innovative client projects. You will help build and improve DevOps practices, automate cloud infrastructure, and support modern data platforms running on Azure.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Azure-native services.
• Support, optimise, and maintain environments hosting data platforms, databases, analytics solutions, and business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and contribute to platform standardisation initiatives.
• Manage and support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability and monitoring solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment, and database-related issues.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to DevOps, DataOps, and cloud platform best practices.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.

• Minimum 2.5 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DataOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Exposure to data-oriented environments, including databases, data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics platforms, or DataOps practices.
• Understanding of database administration concepts, performance optimization, backup strategies, and operational support is highly valued.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication and a proactive mindset.
