Senior Software Engineer

Design, build, and maintain the backend architecture of deeploi’s platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and clean code. Work closely with frontend and DevOps teams, and mentor junior engineers.

• Design, build, and maintain the backend architecture of deeploi’s platform — with a focus on scalability, reliability, and clean code.
• Own features end-to-end: from planning and architecture to deployment and maintenance.
• Work closely with frontend and DevOps teams, contribute to code reviews, and help set engineering standards.
• Optimise performance of data-heavy systems and ensure infrastructure scales with our customers’ needs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical hiring.

• 5+ years of experience in backend or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and complex data structures.
• Track record of building data-heavy applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.
• You care about quality, security, and user experience — and it shows in your code.
• Comfortable owning large parts of the product roadmap — independently and within a team.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Experience with MDM systems or enterprise device management (nice to have).
• Familiarity with data analysis or analytics tooling (nice to have).
• Experience with Windows-based services and server environments (nice to have).
